Antioxidant Diet

All of us should consider starting an antioxidant diet. This does not mean you should completely change what you are eating now. But adding fruits and vegetables to your daily diet can generate great returns.
As you change to a more antioxidant rich diet, you will feel more energized. Short term effects such as your body system becoming more regular to long terms effects such as glowing skin, antioxidants do make a difference.

Antioxidants can be found in most fruits and vegetables. They also are in many grain products and available as vitamins. To achieve higher intakes of vitamin E, for example, you can eat vegetable oil, eggs and nuts. High concentration of zinc can be found in poultry, fish, whole grains, meats and diary products. Carrots, kale and spinach are the main source of beta carotene. Vitamin C can be added through daily intakes of citrus fruit and juices, broccoli, green peppers and potatoes.

By learning to eat a more antioxidant diet, you will increase your life span and make your body function healthier.

To achieve the best results, you may want to learn how to combine your antioxidant diet in order to get the maximum output with your daily meals. For example, eating blueberries with your morning cereal can be a very effective way of adding antioxidants. All in all, an antioxidant diet will help you have a healthier body. It is definitely worth a try.
