Warm Heart, Soft Hands

Women can pamper and soften their ever loving, hard working hand with an easy routine during the winter months. Once a week, partially fill two medium bowls with warm water; squeeze the juice from half a lemon into each bowl. Soak hands for 5 minutes, then blot gently with a washcloth. In a small bowl, stir together 1 tablespoon of petroleum jelly, 1/2 tablespoon olive oil and 6 drops chamomile essential oil. Massage the mixture gently into hands for 5 minutes, and then cover them with cotton gloves – or socks- for at least 1 hour. An overnight treatment gives even softer results.
