An estimated 30 million single American women travel at least once a year for business or pleasure. For those who rent vehicles during their trip, getting lost and asking for directions, especially late at night, can be the most uncomfortable part of the trip. Avis and Budget are helping increase the safety and security of women travelers with their new Where2 GPS with Real-Time Traffic Alerts. With the introduction of Where2 GPS, women don’t need to worry about getting lost in a strange city - or even getting caught in a traffic jam. Available at over 350 cities in the US, Where2 is the most technologically advanced GPS system available in a rental vehicle, offering real-time traffic alerts and automatically suggesting an alternate route to avoid the tie-up.
Available at Avis and Budget locations nationwide, Where2 can be rented from Avis at 330 cities across the U.S. and an additional nine locations in Canada. At Budget, Where2 is available at 180 locations in the U.S. and five locations in Canada.

Where2 GPS navigation notifies drivers of upcoming traffic snarls, construction tie-ups, and automatically suggests alternative routes. In addition, where available, information on weather delays is also provided. Traffic information is provided by Clear Channel’s Total Traffic Network for nearly 50 cities.
