victorian

The ladies and gentlemen of the Julia-Ann Square Historic District invite their fellow West Virginians and Ohio neighbors to join them in a Victorian outing to visit gardens, meet friends and enjoy the gracious pleasures of afternoon tea.

The Julia-Ann Square Historic District Tour and Tea will take place June 2 and 3, 2007 from 1:00 PM-5:00 PM in Parkersburg, West Virginia. The cost is $15.00 for adults. Gardening ideas and inspiration shall be provided at no charge. Children age ten and under may attend and will be admitted at no cost at all if accompanied by a responsible adult.

There will be a plant sale featuring annuals and perennials at the “Castle” on Ann Street next door to the Tea at 1217 Ann Street. Either will serve as an excellent starting point for the day.

For ticket information call Lillian McCrary, 304-422-2687. Tickets will also be sold at each home on the day of the Tour.
