Lady – Sponsored by Deanna and Jamie Cooper, animal lovers
in Charleston |
Lady is about 4 years old. She may look like a dog, but she is a
cuddle bug. She’s also a professional lap sitter and an enthusiastic
nap partner, happy to curl up right in the curve of undercover knees.
Lady believes in kissing on the first date and all subsequent dates
at any opportunity. Her tricks are 'roll over', 'roll over' and 'roll
over'. Commanded to sit, she rolls over. Commanded to shake, she rolls
over. Told to speak…, she rolls over!!
Lady was adopted from the Charleston animal shelter as a puppy. Her
grandmotherly owner is no longer able to care for her, so Lady needs
a new home where she can be a companion and live- in love bug. Lady
barks very little, and usually only when she hears something unfamiliar.
She has a small, endearing under bite that gives her a comical expression
when she plays. She’s happy to entertain herself (or an appreciative
audience), taking her toys, tossing them in the air and shaking or
catching them.
Lady is quite comfortable spending the night in her crate, a 3’
x 3’ cage that has been her sleeping quarters since she was
a child. She will bring her ‘bedroom’ to her new home.
This little dog is an indoor dog, but she’s happy to go for
a drive. She’ll take a lap if it’s offered, but if not,
she just curls up in the passenger seat and takes a little snooze.
Lady is all girl- she likes to dress up and have her toenails painted.
About 15 pounds, she takes good care of herself and is current on
all shots.
Is there someone with a place in their heart and a place in their
home for Lady?
