Everyone goes back to school in September, including Sandy Murray,
the Humane Society educator who visits classrooms all over Wood County
to talk about animals and animal care. Sandy says, “Kids
can be the best owners and the best advocates for spaying and neutering
when they have the information.” Teachers who wish to schedule
a presentation, should call the Humane Society in Parkersburg. Sandy
is glad to address students from elementary to high school and tailors
her presentation to the appropriate age group.
