The Humane Society of Parkersburg will host a holiday adoptathon,“Home
for the Holidays” when they re-open after regular hours December
12, from 6-8pm.
Refreshments and a caroling choir will accompany the event. New owners
receive an additional $10 off their new family member’s spay
or neuter.
The Kanawha/Charleston Humane Association will hold an Open House
December 6 from 10-5. Santa will be available for photo ops and new
owners get $5 off the cost of adoption.
The Humane Society of Parkersburg, at the corner of 29th and
Poplar off Murdoch Avenue, is open Monday through Friday from 10-5

is open 7 days a week, Monday through Saturday from 12-6 and on Sunday
