Women of Purpose

Over 600 women from all walks of life, all ages and all faiths will enjoy a day of inspiration, teaching, shopping and fellowship October 7 at the 5th annual Women of Purpose Conference. The conference is presented by Purpose Ministries, a non-profit, faith-based organization in Parkersburg, West Virginia. This year’s theme is, “The Father’s Fortress.”

Doors open at 7:30 AM at North Parkersburg Baptist Church. Each $10 ticket provides admission to any two of twelve conference workshops, Keynote Sessions, the mini-mall shopping area, morning refreshments, boxed lunch, and conference canvas tote bag. Childcare is free but pre-registration is required. A new Teen Track for girls 9th grade and above will be offered this year.

Event co-coordinator Kay Grose says, “Women of Purpose is not supported by any one church and is open to all women, regardless of church affiliation and to those with no church affiliation. Our Purpose Team has been busy planning the details of this conference since the day following last year’s event. It is a God-glorifying, heart-lifting, fun day!”
